NASA RallyCross Driver |
In the season of 2013B Jacob Krause joined Nasa rallycross with the #29 razer car for razer enterprises and while the young man had shown passion and drive, his severe lack of driving ability had been ever present. Later on in 2013C He had gained the attention of MRT and had joined their junior division in hopes of becoming a better driver. While having brief flashes of promise and slight glimpses of hope in improvement the inability to be consistent and causing problems for other drivers had lead to his justifiable banning from competition after the round of Negus with his replacement then being Dylan Smith. When the dust settled he had never made a final and was put into a very small list of drivers that were banned from the league. His career seemed over he went on leave for hopes of one day rejoining the fold of the Nasa rallycross challenge which one day he eventually would. In 2017C after 4 long years and a lot of discussion Stewards had decided to lift his ban. With this new opportunity given Jacob decided to enlist a new team and give full focus towards the privateer championship with that "Krause Developmental Engineering" was created with hopes of finally making a final and winning in some way. Only one problem was that there wasn't a vehicle, so Krause went searching and found a slightly rusted out ford focus that looked barely salvageable but ever determined threw a rallycross spec engine in and went racing. Having the car give a proper debut at the home track on the schedule at Milwaukee the car would forever be known as "Rust Bucket".
