The 2013C NASA RallyCross Challenge Season was the sixth season for the NASA RallyCross Challenge presented by Royal Purple. It started on 24 November 2013 with the 6th British Rallycross Grand Prix and ended with the Irwindale Rallycross Grand Prix on 2 February. Dylan Livengood, Revolution Racing, and Mitsubishi will return as the defending Drivers', Works Constructors', and Manufacturers' Champions.
Background
Coming into the sixth NASA RallyCross season, the leading works teams rosters did not change.
- Quadruple Works Champions Revolution Racing will retain Triple Drivers' Champion Dylan Livengood and Chris Wetz.
- Their rivals, the 2012B Works Champions Citroën retain 2012B Drivers' Champion Josh Mertz and his teammate Cody Erdmann.
- Mangled Lemons Racing moves up to become a works team for Ford with Nick Kahrs and Keith Sherman.
- Volkswagen also begins their maiden campaign in the Works ranks with the 2012A Drivers' Champion, Brandon Lambert, and Tanner Smith, who drove for the team in the final two races in the 2013B season.
2013C Schedule
Schedule Changes
- The rally endurance rounds return from 2012A, due to popular demand. The two rounds will form the inaugural Royal Purple Endurance Cup.
- Two new circuits arrive this season in Talladega, AL & Las Vegas, NV, USA.
- On 12 December, the Las Vegas Council informed NASA officials that building permits would not be given to NASA to build the track.
- On the announcement of the LV track being cancelled, NASA officials moved the finale to the Irwindale Speedway.

Team and Driver Changes
- After re-evaluating their RallyCross programme (along with Josh Mertz serving his suspension) Citroën has reinstated their factory teams for 2013C.
- Luke Fleming terminated the contract for Carolina Motorsports to be the official Works and Semi-Works teams for Subaru.
- Mangled Lemons Racing became the Ford works team.
- Volkswagen World Rally Team has accompanied Monster Energy as the new main sponsor for Brandon Lambert & Tanner Smith. With this announcement, they elevate to Works status after winning Semi-Works in 2013B.
- Luke Fleming and Jacob Krause join the Citroën Junior team after closing Carolina.
- Mid season, Citroën and MRT parted ways. This resulted in MRT aligning with Subaru for the first time since 2012B.
- After a string of poor performances and disqualifcations, Jacob Krause was dropped by MRT Junior after Negus. Dylan Smith will return to the team for the remaining races.
- Tanner Smith was dropped by VW after Negus due to a failure of showing up to race events.
